We’re a Great Place to Work!
We Won a Washingtonian Magazine Award
Mar 06, 2017
Washingtonian Magazine named Asymmetrik one of their 2017 Great Places to Work! Asymmetrik is one of only 50 companies on this exclusive list of employers in the Washington, D.C. Metro area. What a fantastic way to start 2017!
What Makes a Great Place to Work?
Washingtonian’s editorial panel combed through more than 8,000 detailed employee surveys to select the 50 Great Places to Work winners. They evaluated employers based on pay, benefits, work/life balance, opportunities for growth, financial stability, meaningful work, respect and recognition of employees.
Washingtonian’s panel weighted employee feedback and scores the most when selecting the winners. They did this because perks can look great on paper, but they don’t mean much if employees aren’t happy or fulfilled in their work. Ultimately, this is why we care so much about making sure our work is important, meaningful and challenging. We’ve always hired smart (and humble) people, and given them the freedom to do what they do best. This is what makes Asymmetrik a great place to work.
Flexibility and Sharing Success
Washingtonian called out Asymmetrik’s strong emphasis on work/life balance and our profit sharing plan, which allows our people to share our success:
“A lot of technology firms equip employee lounges with video games, foosball and a beer fridge. At Asymmetrik, the room also features a kids’ area for when parents need to bring in a child. The focus on work/life balance— including generous flexibility—is one reason employees feel valued. Nice benefits don’t hurt: Staffers receive fully paid healthcare premiums, quarterly bonuses, and great pay. PERK: Profit sharing that deposits an amount equal to 15% of salary into each employee’s 401(k).”
We know that our employees are more than just their job titles. And, work is only one small part of life. We’re committed to taking care of our employees and their families so they can enjoy their lives inside and outside the office. Thank you A-Team for making Asymmetrik a great place to work!
