Asymmetrik encourages employees to balance work and home life. We offer 20 days of personal time off per year for vacation, sick leave, appointments, or just time off to rest and relax. Whether you’re traveling the world or taking time to sleep in one morning, we believe you’re most motivated at work when you’re rested, recharged and rejuvenated. You’ll get an extra day for every year after your 5th anniversary at Asymmetrik, up to 5 extra days.
We offer 11 holidays off a year with pay. The seven fixed holidays include: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Day. The four floating holidays may be used for other holidays, such as: Columbus Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Veterans Day.

We know what’s important in life, and adjusting to the newest family member takes time. We offer 5 days of maternity/paternity leave in the year you or your spouse have or adopt a child. After that period, short-term disability will kick in. Take some time to focus on what’s truly important. And try to get some sleep while you’re at it!
Losing a loved one is difficult. We offer 3 days of bereavement leave for the loss of an immediate family member to be with the ones you love when you need each other most.

Health and well-being is a top priority, so we offer a 100% employer-paid CareFirst healthcare plan which covers employees and their dependents with a Health Savings Account (HSA) we fund 100%, at $3,000 per year.

In the unfortunate event of a loss, we want to make sure your family is taken care of, so we provide a 100% employer-paid life insurance plan at 1x annual salary with optional supplemental group coverage available.

This is why we offer 100% tuition coverage for approved degrees from accredited schools. If you’re finished with school but want to obtain other training, certifications, or attend conferences, we’ll cover up to $5,000 annually.
If you’d rather geek-out with new tech, you can opt for a $3,000 technology allowance once every three years.
