Bowie Baysox Night 2021
Asymmetrik Event Recap
Jun 30, 2021

On June 19th, employees and their families came out for Asymmetrik’s annual Bowie Baysox Night. We had an amazing time at Prince George’s Stadium, watching the Bowie Baysox play the Akron Rubber Ducks. Since this was our first in-person gathering since March 2020, everyone was excited and ready to get together. We had an impressive turnout of 89 attendees, and it was great to see everyone IRL, rather than on a computer screen.

The weather was warm and sunny – a perfect summer evening to sit outside and enjoy the game. In the Potomac Suite, we feasted on fried chicken, burgers, hot dogs, Old Bay mac and cheese, ice cream and cotton candy. To add to the fun, a face painter was on hand to paint both kids and kids-at-heart.

The A-Team cheered on the Baysox as they fought valiantly against the Rubber Ducks. At one point, a foul ball even came our way and was quickly caught by one of our newest employees, John. The game went into OT for 4 more innings, but at the end of the day, Akron won, 5-1. Even still, it was a hugely successful outing, and everyone had a blast.

You can check out more pics on Facebook. And, if you’d like to join the fun too, feel free to check out our careers page. Maybe we’ll see you at next year’s Bowie Baysox Night!
