Asymmetrik is a 2018 Top Workplace
We Won a 2nd Washington Post Award!
Jun 25, 2018

We did it again! The Washington Post has named Asymmetrik a 2018 Top Workplace. Additionally, the editors gave Asymmetrik a shoutout for having great benefits, (specifically our 15% 401K contribution).

To compile their annual list, The Washington Post evaluated over 57,000 employee surveys from area workplaces. The survey addressed areas including work/life balance, compensation, growth, employee engagement (, and company leadership. This award is particularly meaningful since our employees voted us to the Top Workplaces list two years in a row. So, we’d like to extend a big “Thank You” to The A-Team from the bottom of our hearts.

Members of our team accepted the award on June 21st. We had a great time mingling with other 2018 Top Workplace winners at The Washington Post’s modern headquarters.

“We strive to build a workplace that is engaging, innovative, and meaningful,” CTO Amit Singh said. “We’re grateful our employees choose to serve their missions with us and build a better Asymmetrik. This award is a testament to the connection that Asymmetrik’s employees have with the company, and we’re honored to be named a Washington Post Top Workplace for two years running.”

WHY ASYMMETRIK IS A 2018 Top Workplace

Benefits and compensation matter. There’s no doubt about it which is why it’s important that employees take the time to learn more about them over at However, survey results consistently show that connection and alignment are also incredibly important factors in employee satisfaction. Connection means not only that employees feel connected with their team, but appreciated and valued. And, when employees feel aligned with a company, they believe that the company is headed in the right direction, and that the values match up with their own. This makes the work they do meaningful and important.

Becoming a Top Workplace didn’t happen by accident, and it didn’t happen overnight. Over the last 10 years, we’ve put deliberate thought and effort into building our culture. We regularly asked for feedback and truly listened to our employees when they told us how we could do better. We’re thrilled that they ranked Asymmetrik highly in both connection and alignment.

We consider ourselves highly fortunate to work with this positive, inspiring, and creative group of people each and every day. If you want to work with a great team like this too, check out our openings. We’re always looking for talented people to join The A-Team!
